An industril design is the features in the way an article looks, such as its shape, configuration, pattern or ornamentation. In order to get a registered design in Israel, the design must be novel in Israel. Thus, a registration application must be filed before the design is published or shown in public.
A registered design can be kept if force for up to 15 years. During this time period the owner thereof has the exclusive rights to utilize the design in Israel.
